Frequently Asked Questions from visitors to Faithbridge
Can I come to Faith no matter what my background?
Yes! We would love for you to come. Stop by the Welcome Desk in the church foyer and they’ll answer questions you might have or find the answer for you! Our congregation is comprised of people from all walks of life; from many ethnic and religious backgrounds; from various denominations and some never attended any church before coming here. Faithbridge is associated with the Conservative Baptist Association of America.
How should I dress?
Most of us dress in casual clothes but some people wear ties and dresses. Feel free to come in attire that is comfortable for you! We are more interested in meeting your real life needs than with what you wear.
Where do I take my children?
We provide a nursery at both of our services and a Children’s Church for 4-5 year olds during the Contemporary service. We have Sunday School classes for all ages from September thru May at 9:30 AM. To view a campus map and read more information about our Children’s Ministry and Sunday School Classes for Youth and Adults, please visit the Sunday School link.
What style of music is used in the worship services?
We use two different styles of music. Our Contemporary service uses guitars, drums, keyboard and the newest praise and worship songs. Our Traditional service consists of piano, organ and familiar traditional hymns and choruses. Occasionally we will hear a special music selection from a member of the church. These selections range from the flute to the banjo, the guitar to the violin. The same sermon is preached at both services.
Do you expect me to give an offering?
No, your presence is a gift to us! Although many of our church members and regular attendees choose to bring a worship offering we do not expect our guests to do so.
Am I required to do anything?
No. You can just enjoy the service and listen to the pastor’s message. If you feel comfortable doing so, we would like for you to fill out a Connection Card to let us know you attended. Some people fill out the cards on their first visit, while others fill it out on their second visit. We have communion on the first Sunday of every month and baptismal services on Easter Sunday and in late summer. If you would like to know more about communion or baptism, please click here. Does Faith believe that the Bible is God’s Word?
Yes! We believe the Bible is God’s Word, without error. Our pastor explains the truth of God’s Word and how it can be applied to our lives today.
Can I attend Faith without becoming a member?
Yes, you are welcome to attend without joining. Our pastors / leaders offer a class where you can learn about what we believe and how our church functions.
